My sister and I had a great time on this tour! Monserrat took us to buildings we otherwise would not have seen and she is SUPER knowledgable about the history of the murals (and history generally!).

Montserat offered an absolutely amazing art walk through the Centro Historico in CDMX. It was so obvious that she lives and loves the work of the great Mexican muralist such as Diego Rivera, Amado de la Cueva or Jose Orosco. Her knowledge, her passion and the way how Montserat was able to bring the paintings alive by putting them into historic context and adding little personal anecdotes was priceless and really made the difference between a normal museum visit and a true experience! Thank you!

I really recommend this tour for people who want something out of the mainstream art stuff. Montserrat took us to very special places and buildings that I would have never visited myself, she showed us a lot of murals and had great stories behind them, as well as about the history of Mexico itself to give context. Besides she knows the Centro really well, an area that as a tourist can feel a bit overwhelming so that was also a plus! A very special experience with a great guide!!! Thank you Montse!!!

Montseratt has a profound social consciousness which added a depth that matches Alfonso Cuarón's in the making of this masterpiece. I highly recommend this experience that Montserrat offers -- it touches all the senses, and touches the heart; it honors the film and its author/director, and when we say goodbye to Montserrat we leave with new insights about Mexican society today.
